Model Forecasts
Global ensemble and deterministic guidance from ECMWF, NOAA (GFS), DWD (ICON) and Environment Canada (GDPS), updated twice a day. Step through synoptic maps out to 15 days, and compare every ensemble member at any point. Search, pick a preset, or click the map in the point panel to choose a location.

Dashed lines are each ensemble's median; shading spans its 25th–75th percentile (also shown when you hover). Thin solid lines are deterministic runs; daily charts show a box spanning each ensemble's 25th–75th percentile with a line at its median, and a short tick for each single run. Click a chart to move the maps to that time. Snowfall compares each member's snow level with the chosen elevation and applies a snow-to-liquid ratio: a flat 10:1, or the Kuchera ratio (from each member's warmest temperature at 700 mb and above) when selected. Model grids are about 25 km, so precipitation is a grid-cell average and won't capture all of the terrain enhancement. The NWS line is the official National Weather Service gridded forecast (2.5 km, US only, about 7 days): its snowfall and snow level are the NWS's own numbers at its grid elevation, not computed from the elevation slider.
