My friends…
It’s always a beautiful day here in the Eastern Sierra. I’m Noé from eastsideweather.com, here for MammothFM in the Eastern Sierra, coming atcha with your local weather report…
Happy opening weekend to all who celebrate! Warm and clear weather persists until about next Wednesday, with the warmth expected to peak this weekend. By next Wednesday, precipitation chances start increasing into next weekend, as that storm window we’ve been tracking for quite some time now rolls in. Now, it’s still not yet a certainty that we see any precipitation here in Mammoth, but the trends are more and more promising each day. As of now, models are suggesting anywhere from a moderate snow storm to a series of much more impactful ones. But like I’ve been saying, we can’t talk details, timing, or precipitation amounts until a storm is within the 5-day window. It does look promising, and could deliver the base builder we need to expand terrain rapidly. But now is the time for snow dances!

Eastside Weather is a passion project, but keeping it running comes with steady monthly costs: hosting, data feeds and the servers that crunch the model runs. Right now the site costs more than it brings in. Whatever you chip in goes straight back into keeping it going and building new tools.
